I am a very creative person. I have been doing so many things in the last 25 years. I was an assistant animator or inbetweener on Prince of Egypt, then I became a 3d animator because Dreamworks offered me to learn the tools back in 1997. We were supposed to work on a secret film called ¨Shrek¨. I was part of this training team but unfortunatelly the film was canceled and I had to go back to Prince of Egypt. I was then an assistant in two different teams, Slaves and Myriam. A few months later I was offered the opportunity to be a CG animator on a new film the company was doing with PDI in San Francisco. I moved there and worked on Antz as an animator.  

At the end of the film I moved back to Mexico and started my own company doing mostly TV commercials. After 4 years of doing that, I was tired of the pace advertising demands, so I tried to go back to feature films. My former boss at PDI offered me a new job on 2 more films, Shrek 2 and Madagascar. When I finished these films I decided to leave and go back to Mexico and try again to start my own studio. Again, I was doing commercials until I was offered the opportunity to direct an animated feature film. Going back and forth so many times, doing advertising and feature films gave me a complete understanding of the whole process. I know how to deal with clients, I know perfectly how to do 2d and 3d animation, and off course I learned to direct. 

I have directed lots of commercials, TV series, and helped producing a few more films.

On the other hand I have been teaching animation for more than 20 years. I have taught 2d animation, 3d animation, animation history, figure drawing amongst some other topics.
